 $800 MILLION
in Water & Sewer Funding

That’s not a number someone just made up - NUCA PA was there, fighting for every dollar. And we made sure those dollars flowed down and were used appropriately, in the municipalities where NUCA members do the work, employ the people, and improve the community.

$400 MILLION
in Additional Funding

Because NUCA is working across party lines throughout the state to secure commitments to ongoing water and sewer projects, like the bond issue of 2016

STANDBY TIME
is Production Loss

Idle time cuts production time and costs you money through no fault of your own. NUCA understands your safety & time

concerns related to mismarked or un-marked utility lines. We continue to see legislation pass in PA to remedy the adequated economic loss doctrine.

The Pennsylvania Utility Contractors Association (PUCA) now d/b/a NUCA Pennsylvania has been the voice of the utility industry for sewer and water contractors, suppliers, professionals in the industry, and governmental entities for 50 years in 2017.

We have been able to define, establish and preserve the identity and the common interests of the utility industry through our promotion of the industry with governmental agencies, general contractors, labor and professional engineers.

Our mission is to provide funding for utility projects, fair and reasonable contract specifications, timely payments on work performed, fair bidding practices, subsurface utility locating and a favorable law and regulatory environment.
